I need some help figuring out an annoying problem im having, i recently got a new pc and have been loving playing WoW on it. but a few days ago i decided to expand from just playing wow to some other games i wasn't able play before (i used to have nothing but a ps3) and as soon as i tried problems started popping up. Before i explain my predicament it seems like a good idea to give a basic rundown of what i have for a setup. i have a 27" HDTV with a VGA cable running from my PC to my TV, my TV isint a well known brand but i get crystal clear quality and 0 frame rate lag with my ps3 on it using an HDMI so i doubt its my TV. my PC is brand new and essentially top of the line so i honestly doubt its from not having the power to run these games, can anybody tell me if its just my cable or if my PC might not have enough muscle in the graphics department to run games at higher graphical settings?

any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance, Tahoe51

Its your television. TV's cap out at something like 1600x1200 resolution as it isnt intended for heavy graphics, unlike a PC. Monitors on the other hand are designed SPECIFICALLY to compensate for that.

What are your specs for your PC though?

What do you mean by problems? Is it jerky and stuttery, or do random lines and blurring keep appearing or something?

Also, TV screens aren't really designed for PCs, and it's unusual to even be able to connect them together...
