My moms dog is in surgery right now someone shot it with a 22 round. She thought it was a bite or somthing til now sense it happened late yesterday.

I fucking hate people who attack defenseless animals. It duesnt even bark much and its mostly a inside dog

Dog suffered enough being a rescue pet from a abusive home now its shot in the leg. My day is ruined

Edit: My mom lives in a Cul-de-sac and isn't near any type of country or dirty road or anything its all houses with yards maintained.

For discussion value: What kind of people do you hate and why.

I'm assuming you live out in the country? It's varmint season in some place, someone probably shot it because it was chasing away game. They used to shoot at our dog all the time because it would actively chase away all the deer.

Not really a good reason to do so though. Hope your dogs ok. Should be if it was a .22LR.

As for me, I hate people who take the console/PC wars seriously. Petty, I know, but there it is.

I'm really sorry to hear that, I hope the dog is okay!
I had something similar happen when I was a child, someone shot our cat with an air gun. He did survive though.

I don't really hate people at the moment but I'm pretty sick and kinda annoyed at doctors. I've been sick for a few days and I've only just gotten a prescription to actually help my shitty symptoms.
Last couple days have just been me trying to explain why not being able to eat or sleep is shitty and doctors being like:

No she lives in a coldasack there's no country around here.

The dog was in a fenced yard it's not allowed out of there and it rarely barks it typically goes outside to go potty.

Edit: I should add she's 60 years old and has 3 Dogs all small breed I think and keeps the back patio door open for em to go in and out.

My condolences. I hope your dog will make it out OK in the end.

Honestly, I'm rather torn on how to feel about people.
A part of me wants to believe that most people are at least decent and the constant reports on shitty people are because they're loud and net views.
But a rather big part of me tells me the opposite; Individuals are fine at times, but humanity as a whole are scum and the worst thing to happen ever in the history of the universe. It's a constant tug-of-war between being an optimist[footnote]Maybe not an optimist, but I can't think of a better word.[/footnote] and being a misanthrope, and it's kinda tiring.

May be because I carry on over eight years worth of bottled-up anger and seething hatred, though. And even though this may make me sound like an overly dramatic angsty teenager, let me just say that I have rather dark fantasies at times.

I can tell you for certain, however, that I fucking despise middle schoolers. Middle school girls in particular. I hate them with all of my heart.

People believe I'm a good person. I'm not. I'm actually an awful person. I'm just good at masking what I really feel.

People who abuse animals should be treated very, very severely indeed. If they are not, it is only a matter of time before they move on to human beings.

Animal abuse is a sign of severe mental sickness and must be treated as such. The kind of people that goes out and hurt and kill other people's pets for kicks are uttetly worthless whorepups, and should be taught fear and respect. Shove his toy gun up his arse and pull the trigger until he learns some manners.

Trust me, I've known people like that. They haven't had a single want in the world, and they've still shot and gutted other people's pets. Kick their faces in. That will do them a service in the long run.

I really cannot understand the psychopathic mindset that goes with animal abuse. I really can't. You have a trusting animal which is reliant on people and someone goes and does something like that.

There was a news story around recently about some dog owner who slit his poor dog's throat. He managed to miss her major arteries and she escaped and was found the day after by some kindly people who rushed her to the vet and they saved her. The poor thing is safely in a new home now and he's been given just over four months in prison which is the least he deserves.

Anyone tried anything with my dogs and frankly they'd be going to hospital.

So why did the person shoot your dog? Your post isn't clear. I mean if it looked like your dog was gonna bite him it is a valid reason. I mean if a person was going to bite me....

Sure you know he won't bite (or maybe he would) but joe blow doesn't.

Have you ever been bitten by a dog before? I have. Not fun.

My condolences, hopefully your dog will be okay. And while I don't want to hate humanity as a whole, there are people I would very much like to see shot. And animal abusers are among them.

The dog was in a fenced yard not running around wild. Shes a rescued animal who was taken from abusive owners before my mom got her.

Shes a small breed and duesn't bite hell she wont even snap at the other 2 doggys.

Someone had to of came up to the back yard leaned over the fence to of shot her there is nothing of self defense here.

Sorry to hear about your dog, hopefully it gets better.

I know that where I used to live in London, people tended to get jumpy around dogs, but that's due to the fact that gang culture enjoyed using them as weapons and to look intimidating(staffordshires most of the time), but a gun... what even.

Even in Norway, people aren't allowed to shoot wolves; animals that are active hunters are protected by law. Shooting and killing a wolf carries a fine as well as a possible prison sentence iirc, with the official procedure being just to use the firearm as a warning not as a weapon against wildlife.

OT: No-one. I got that out of my system about a year back. I've learnt to take things on the chin and see misfortune or rude behaviour as just life being absurd.

I always like to think of it as God laughing at me, cause it makes things slightly lighter. When it comes to people, I've learned to accept that everyone has parts that make them good and bad, with the bad stuff usually being misguidance, misjudgement or just mistakes.

Everyone's fucked :U

Like Kendrick says: "I'm mad/But I ain't stressing"

I love it when you talk words to me!
