Hi there. I thought it would be fun to see where everyone is from and what kind of cool/lame things you have to say about your hometown. I shall begin:

My hometown is Edmonton, Canada. Something awesome about it is that Bioware is from here. Something lame about Edmonton is that Nickelback is from here too.

So yeah, nice and simple. How about you out there?

Awesome: I live about 40 minutes from where Shaun Morgan grew up
Lame: If international bands do ever come to SA, they usual just go to Jo'burg or Cape Town, the closer of which is 5 years by car.

Awesome fact: We have a castle called Dunnottar Castle and a crapload of history to go along with it

Crap fact: Only source of amusement outside is the Swimming/Gym centre, so lots of bored teenagers, vandalism etc.

The Good: There's about 3 Chinese restaurants per square mile.

The Bad: It's pretty much just a strip mall that extends out from Seattle.

Good: Its a nice growing place with easy access to many parts of Texas.

Bad: The weather is INSANE.

5000 inhabitants, we got an international-standard football field, kindergarten and all levels of education up to highschool on the same block, a library, two churces etc. Seriously, we're all too developed for 5000 inhabitants spread out on a huge island.

What sucks? For some weird reason, people have an ugly tendency of killing themselves here...

One of the biggest music festivals in Europe is held here (Exit festival).
The crappy bit, well off the top of my head, its a bit dirty and there's graffiti everywhere.
