Alec Baldwin gets in trouble on a plane and suddenly we're linking it to "game addiction" ... feel free to be indignant.

He's Alec Fucking Baldwin. If I had as much money as him, I wouldn't let something as silly as a flight to interrupt my gaming, either.

I play my DS on every flight I take and they tell me I only have to turn it off during the takeoff and landing. I guess it just affects some airlines.

Pretty much this. It's the same mentality I use when a friend tries to spark up a conversation about the latest Kardashian bulls**t.

I would like to add to the chorus of "I really don't care what Alec Baldwin does."

That's not addiction. That's a celebrity being an asshole and using gaming as an excuse.

I had to write an essay today for my exam. The topic was "Video games are dangerous."
EDIT: To make it clear, I don't believe that. It was just the topic.

I just wish they'd stop dropping the loaded language bombs with the 'addict' stuff - it's obviously something people like playing and might have a compulsive element but... ugh. I just keep seeing these stories pop up on my feeds.
