So Escapist Members, what best describes your life/generation of people? Dark Side of the Moon? Hotel California? Unforgiven? Lose Yourself? Fergalicious? Fire Away!

I might as well get it started: Carry on my Wayward Son by Kansas, because my life has been all about giving your all until your done, then relax as you watch all you've done flourish or come apart.

My childhood was spent in the 90s, so I had nothing but the Spice Girls and generic pop groups. I didn't think I liked music until I reached the age of 10 and discovered bands like Iron Maiden and Metallica. Yes, I started on the conventional heavy metal, but I have a sort of respect for myself because I was listening to Alice Cooper and Pantera rather than Blink 182 or Generic Punk-pop 7149005000.
The album that really brought me into a love of music was 'Golden Age of Grotesque' by Marilyn Manson. I suppose that album defines my youth. Alot of people don't like that album but I can never get tired of it.

"How do you like me now?" By Toby Keith. My life has been to prove that all the nay-sayers were wrong about me. I plan to be world famous, and show that no matter what, I can accomplish more than anyone who belittled me.

"The Impossible Dream", from Man of La Mancha - that song doesn't so much describe me as I am, but as I aspire to be.

American Idiot by Green Day could reasonably be stated as one of the albums that defined "the noughties", and hence my generation.
