I get at least one song stuck in my head for a day every week, it drives me absolutely mad! Recently, after stumbling upon a video posted on this forum

Curse you to the depths of hell Hazy!

I found myself humming the song in my head NON STOP for the entire day and was even singing it unde my breath at some points in the day; I mildly offended an old woman on the bus....

This happens to me all the bloody time! I'll hear an annoying or catchy song and I'll just be completely unable to stop playing it in my head. Other songs have included the mario theme, fresh prince, flash gordon, Hollaback girl *shudder*, and so many more. I wish I had absolute control over my thoughts, but I can't simply just stop thinking about a song -.-

What are some songs that have been stuck in your head? Please share video links so that we may all feel your agony!

Swag

:p

I get songs stuck in my head all the time. Hasn't actually happened in a while though, last song I can properly remember is this when I was trying to sleep. I think it was this one, it was definitely from that album.

I like the song but not when it was 3AM and I had to be up at 7AM :(

This goddamn song has been in my head for the past week and a half. No amount of better songs can displace it. It's like some Nazi scientists cooked this up in a lab to unleash upon the minds of the unsuspecting public and cause widespread insanity.

I'm sorry if I passed this curse on to anyone else

That one was stuck in my head after Nintendo showed off Just Dance for WiiU at E3...... I think hearing this song consistently on the radio could drive the average person to suicide within a week; it's a good thing I don't listen to much radio.

I always have a song stuck in my head. Currently, its this... thing.

Its the drummer of Pierce the Veil. He has a rap side-project. It isn't really good (kind of generic rap style music), but that's the novelty of it. Plus, Jonny Craig sings the hook, and while I hate the guy as a person, I can't deny the dude has a phenomenal voice.

AH, I had Gotye in my head for ages too... right now though, given I was listening to the album earlier, it has to be The Gaslight Anthem:

Same here. I do actually like the song, so that helps.

OT: Last week, fun.'s 'We Are Young' wouldn't leave my head. Also:

Annoyingly the songs that get stuck in my head are never songs that I like. I once spent 3 weeks trying to remember a song that I could not remember the lyrics, tune or band name

...I remembered it by the way. It was the song Steady as She Goes by The Rancoutuers. Not bad for only remembering the song had a lyric about settling down and thinking the band started with an R

Anyway, I don't think I have one stuck in my head right now, so I'm pretty safe there.

I have to agree with you about that. It's the one thing that's really put me off of the bands he's been in, actually, because he is really talented, but he's just such a tool, even compared to the normal amount of toolishness most music stars become.

OT:

Well, it mostly depends on my mood and whatever songs I happen to stumble across. I usually only get specific portions stuck in my head rather than the entire song, but I also occasionally get into a period of listening to a song or two over and over.

To not be boring, though...

I couldn't stop doing the bass line to this while packing up my room the other week while my house mate rapped the lyrics.

I'm pretty good with being able to separate musicians music from their personalities, so I can listen to Dance Gavin Dance, Emarosa, Isles & Glaciers, and even his solo album (though a lot of that is because of Closure in Moscow providing the instrumentation). But I refuse to buy any of his music. I get it from friends or wherever. I cannot support the man just because of how terrible he is.

I've got Weird Al's Dare to be Stupid in my head. Before that I had The Touch and Dare to Believe. Guess what movie I was watching.
