Well, I decided to play S&K the other day (hadn't played it in years) and upon reaching Sandopolis I had a feeling of dread I couldn't quite grasp. I knew something bad was coming up but couldn't quite remember what it was. Then, Act 2......

THE GHOSTS!

As a kid, I remember being terrified of them. If you can't get to a light, they never leave you alone....

Anyone else scared by them?

nah, i always thought they were really cute, dangerous, but cute. i never really had a problem with them as i pretty much always got to the lights in time

Nah, I always found them more annoying then scary.

I was actually more afraid of the Boos from the Mario universe because there where Giant Boos and all the Boos laughed whenever they were chasing me. The only thing that scared me about the second act of Sandopolis is the timer, because I remember getting stuck in an area where there are two never-ending slides (similar to the third act of the Labyrinth Zone in Sonic 1) and you need to make a precise jump to get out of it.

I just remember that part of the game giving me a fucking aneurysm.

I was more afraid of the dreaded barrel from Carnival Night! I can't believe I fell for that when I was a kid.
