Sonic the (undead) Hedgehog really coming back to life in 2010?

I stumbled onto this teaser when watching my daily input of gametrailer-info.

Since this was released today I suspect this could only be a fanmade video of some sort, but if it's not and Sonic is really going back to the old gameplay I'd almost quit my job for buying it, if it wouldn't been my main source of income that is.

I'm really looking forward to a complete 2d Sonic experience like Sega originally should've done.

If it is going to be fully and completely 2D this will be awesome. I hope they don't shoehorn in some 3d element.

I mean, I don't mind if it's 2,5D as long as it's not 3D gameplay. this will be awesome! Can't wait!

If it 3D I will ignore it as I have done every Sonic game since the Genesis

If its 2D or 2.5D then something might finally be getting through to Sonic Team!!
