Space Marine is as good as dead, neither THQ or Relic have actually replied to anything...??

Title - and why? I actually bought this game expecting loads of fun. It was, for around 20 hours if i can believe my Steam, but then the multiplayer just got stale and showed its ugly flaws along with LAG fests...

Less than 5k games are played daily and the forums resemble a dead horse; once alive, now just a host for maggots...

Anyone care to disprove me?

Nothing to disprove, you just about covered it.

The multiplayer was fun for the first few days then it got stale really quick.

I doubt very much will come of it now, it will probably drag on for a while but I can't see it doing a great deal more.

Yeah I really liked the demo, I think they spent shit loads of money Marketing it, thowing money into a sinkhole basically.

Here's to hoping the Co-op mode can do something about that, because I actually enjoy it quite a lot.... I haven't played it for the last couple days, but I contribute that more to my general busyness than to any flaw the game might have...
If neither Relic nor THQ are talking about it at all, then I guess it might be because Relic are busy and THQ actually don't care... But what do I know...

I hope they keep up with the franchise, but considering THQ's trackrecord with games which land in the ratings of 70-80, we won't see another game (see Homefront)

The lag issue is considerably better now that push to talk is on by default, but the lack of map variety is the big killer, meaning it lacks any real lasting appeal.

I am still having loads of fun with it, sure the odd lag here and there cause frustration, but then you just stop and do something else and come back into the game.

It was fun but yeah I agree it is a bit stale. I'm gonnna play it to get the achievements but once done I might stop.

It may rise again though. The free co-op DLC is gonna be cool (and hopefully local multiplayer).

That bullshit with everyones mic on by default was very very very annoying.

That they are using p2p is very annoying.
I would like a bit more then two game modes.
(at least more maps and guns)

The fact that you have to buy power sword is fucking bullshit.


but overall it was fun for a few hours and Im really hoping that co-op mode will be fun.
