So I have a question for all you escapists out there, how do you feel about spoilers?
Personally i need spoilers, when i first find a series or subject that interests me i try to find everything i can about it. I get the plot to whet my appetite and then i move on. Sometimes i pick up the series or whatever, but usually I'm just happy knowing everything about the plot because thats all that matters to me. Short answer being i NEED them.
So how do you feel about spoilers?

I don't care if it's 'spoiled' for me. Because it doesn't spoil it for me. You could tell me every detail about the game (for example) and I'd still play it. Providing I liked it, that is.

A bit of a mixed bag. With some games I like to know what choice to pick so that I can control the story the way I want it to go. But in general I don't like them ruining plot points.

I hate when spoilers aren't hidden, or are just told to me. At the same time, if I see a spoiler hidden on a site about a game or story I'm really into, I'll usually spoil it for myself, but it won't make as much sense as when i see it happen for myself. (If that makes sense.)

I've had a pretty fricking big spoiler for Zelda: Twilight Princess that I just cannot fucking forget, infuriatingly.

I believe if you're going to post spoilers for a game, you should also post WHENABOUTS in the game they occur. Unfortunately not enough other people share my suggestion.

Every time I'm told spoilers, I end up either not caring or forgetting about them before I end up seeing/playing whatever they were about. I guess having a really poor memory is a good thing in this case.

If I really want to get involved in the game and the story I wont look at any spoilers, like I did with Mass effect 2. But I usually don't care and try to find out as much as I can.

For me, it depends how much the things being spoiled depends on the story. For example, if you spoiled the end of, say, Final Fantasy (Insert Roman Numeral), I'd be a little pissed, but if it was spoilers for, say, Mario, I wouldn't really care, because I don't play Mario for the story, I play it for the levels and fun. In movies, I'd be pissed if you spoiled the end of a thriller or a mystery, but the end of an action movie isn't something I'm worried about. for books and comic/manga, because they completely depend on the story, I avoid spoilers for them.

Of course, just because I might not mind, I'd still like a little warning.

It depends on about a million things.

I mean, if I really care about the story I don't want ANYTHING to be spoiled. Then again there are some cases where I ask for confirmation about my suspicions, those kinda count as spoilers, right?

Overall, if I care about it, no spoilers, if I don't, spoil away.

The princess is in the last castle

EDIT: Oh, and by the way, it sucks when the game itself spoils something major. I'm looking at you Mass Effect 2!

They don't bother me that much. I'll still play the game/watch the movie or show/read the book regardless of any and all spoilers.

I dont care about spoilers. Infact, when I've finished reading for the night, I'll usually skip to the end and read the last couple of pages, doesnt effect the experience of course. I even go as far as read everything about a new game, after the obligatory 4 or 5 hours of play, of course. In fact, I think the only exception to this was mass effect 2, which I was so excited about I read nothing about it for the 6 or so months before I played it.

As a general rule I hate spoilers. The exception would be when I play a game like Fallout 3 or Oblivion, because for me the fun from those games generally comes from getting the best loot, so I always end up researching on how to get the best loot.
