Sports Games

Give us some opinions on what you think about sports games??
Myself i dont mind them, especially the NBA Live franchise, but heaps of my friends hate them with a passion.

I don't like basketball unless I'm playing the real thing. I will play Madden and MLB 08 though.

Fight Night is good. The control scheme in particular is really clever and fun to use.

Ever since my body went completely to shit from old age, sports games have been the best way for me to experience athletic competition without ending up in the hospital.

Huge sports fan, so naturally I buy the games as well, right now the only one I have for a new system is NHL 09, and it is excellent. I also enjoy fishing out the soundtracks as well. I couldn't count how many game son my iPod have come from FIFA or NHL or Madden games over the years, and certainly some of them are songs I never would have found otherwise.

I can understand the sports video games, if your physicly unable to play them, otherwise I don't understand the appeal. If you want to be a coach or something, go into a fantasey league. The same thing applies to NASCAR games, going in circles, how fun!(by the way, racing cars is in NO WAY a sport!)

I like sports games to be honest. I play every other year in the Madden and NHL(2k or 0_ depending which is better that year). I also really like the fight night boxing games.

Why play an FPS when you can just go out, join the military and shoot things for real?

I love sports games, the MLB series in particular.
