I'm wondering; why no excitement for this one? It seems like the first genuine innovation in third-person shooters for a long, long time.

Basically, you play as a guy & girl who can hack in to the minds of their enemies, or any pedestrians in the area. You can give them a specific command and see them carry it out, or take direct control of them.
But that's not the most unique feature. The game features a unique "multiplayer within singleplayer" system. You can jump straight in to other player's single player campaign. When you're playing the single player campaign, people can jump straight in to yours too. They'll be assigned to either your team - blue - or the enemy team - red.
If placed on your team, they'll assume command of either your AI partner or a pedestrian, and can begin mindjacking people along with you to help you achieve your current story goal. If placed on the enemy team, they'll assume command of an enemy soldier, or even a boss. Players on the enemy teams are given specific goals to accomplish that aren't always simply "kill the hero".
Any experience points you gain while playing in someone else's game are carried back over to your campaign and vice versa.
This game sounds like one of the most unique experiences to come along in a long time. Why no hype for it?
