The PC version is fine, and I doubt you'll find it as cheap on console.

The PC version is fantastic and it's unlikely the console version will be as cheap as the PC version any time soon.

It's a shame Saints Row: The Third is a pile steaming shit compared to Saints Row 2... But if it's cheap you may as well.

Well, if you grew to really enjoy Johnny Gat's character and want to watch him nonchalantly killed in the first 30 seconds of Saints Row 3, then feel free. (And that may sound like a spoiler, but seriously, it happens in one of the gameplay trailers that was released before the game and nobody seems to really care about it so clearly the developers didn't give two fucks).

SR3 on the PC is the only version I've played and it was brilliant fun. It's one of the best sandbox games I've played, being polished, fun and varied with the RPG elements that make combat and QoL better and the game more interesting as I levelled.

The only reason I haven't bought it on Steam at that price, is that I already bought it at a higher price and I'm not allowed to just give them more money :-(

how is SA2 better? The story is grittier and more realistic in 2, but that is about it.

the enemies in SA3 are harder, which is a good thing because the second game was WAY too easy. I could walk into 20 opponents in SA2 and kill them all under 30 seconds with head shots. SA3 it generally takes a few head shots, and they reel from every shot to the head. Plus there are specialists and brutes with brutes taking about 20 headshots to take down. driving is better in SA3.

For £7.49, I'd go for it. I borrowed it for Xbox and while it was a fun romp, it did lack something. Not sure what but there was something small missing.

Sure for that price. Go for it. But after a few hours just be prepared for the game to slow down in pace.

I was on the fence with it too, but I am so glad I bought the full edition. My wired controller works perfectly and I have the option of keyboard mouse while shooting and controller while driving and the game of course looks beautiful. I am thinking of literally only buying pc from here on out for EVERYTHING.

Yeah, the SR2 PC port was handled by CD Projekt, so after all the bad stuff that occured, Volition decided to handle the PC port of SR3 in-house, hence it performs much, much better.

Yeah, that's the beautiful part about it. You can seamlessly switch between control types without any resetting as you play. Makes handling the aircraft portions of the game a LOT easier.

What? CD Projekt handled SR2's port? No wonder that shit can't run properly. CD Projekt can't optimize PC games for shit.

OP: Go for it. It's one hell of an entertaining game. Lots of content too. Even better with Co-op.

Honestly? Saints Row the Third is nothing like the second game. Its a bit terrible. I'd do more investigation before buying.
