For those of you who don't know, Star Citizen is a brand new Space Sim game being developed by the renowned Chris Roberts of Wing Commander fame. As of 12 hours ago, Star Citizen managed to blast its way past the record for crowd funding previously held by Project Eternity and has actually DOUBLED its original goal of $2 million. At the time of writing, there is still over a day left on the counter and there doesn't appear to be any signs of slowing down!
