I was gonna try to write this review with funny quips and SW quote references just like w/ my Jedi Survivor review.
But no, this game doesn't even deserve that. It's just bad. Not even "so hilariously bad it's good" type of bad.
By this point, more servers have been added and they are mroe stable, but myself and many people are still seeing visual bugs everywhere.
And Aspyr has even't given the most basic apology, instead just saying "We're working on it"
At first I thought it was because this is Asypr's first time doing a big-scale multiplayer game like this. But they didn't even consider getting more people?
There is barely any improves regarding to the graphics or visual elements, and for some reason, they fucked up the sound effects.
The worst part? According a well-known BF2 modder, Aspyr incorporated his mod without his permission or giving him incentives. And somehow, all the "upscaling work" dramatically increases the game size to nearly 63 GB.
Someone may argue "well the core gameplay is still fun". But why would you pay MORE for a broken mess and bare bones new content and QoL changes?
$35 is an insult. You can probably get both games more no more than $10 at this point. Even if Aspyr works to improve the game, I don't think people are coming back to this
