Starcraft/Warcrafters: UMS or normal?

For you Starcraft and Warcraft 3 players out there, just a quick little question: on Battlenet, do you usually play more Use Map Settings games (Tower Defenses, RPGs, etc) or more "normal" gametypes?

I'm personally a fan of UMS, because I'm usually doing a few other things simultaneously, like hanging out on Facebook, Kongregate, and listening to music, and it's just a silly little thing to keep my entertained. Occasionally I want a more in depth Top vs Bottom or something, but for the most part, I'm happy with simplicity. How 'bout you all?

I rarely play normal, and when I do it's only with friends (even then we still play UMS mostly).

Ehh, never really been very good at the melee map types for warcraft and starcraft so I almost exclusively stick to UMS. Don't really play starcraft anymore, hope to change that when SC2 comes out though!

Some of my buddies and I have been playing a lot of warcraft 3 lan though, mostly DoTa and Legion TD.

In Starcraft I always played a lot of melee. WC3 not so much, just something about the game that I didn't like that much.

Don't get me wrong, Warcraft 3 is still pretty cool and it's a good game. It's just that when I think about playing a melee game of Warcraft 3 I go play Starcraft with my friends instead.

UMS I get destroyed when I try to play normal on RTSs.

I have found on starcraft i'm mediocre at the normal game and pretty dang good at all the UMS ones. heck i'm practically undefeatable at income defence, i have lost 1 game, and probably played at least 70 or so. i'm also really good at desert strike, but amazingly great. I love bounds, but no one hosts them anymore. anyway i usually play UMS because i usually win. In starcraft 2 however, i played the regular more, because, for whatever reason, i'm good at it.

Pretty much just play Dota.

Not that I'm very good at that...

I play a lot of specialty game types, but have played team games with friends and done tournaments with normal settings.
