Start button and search bar not working on Windows 10

Ever since the latest update my start button and search bar on the taskbar aren't working. I have tons of programs that I don't have shortcuts to on my desktop, so I really need both of them.

Anyone have the same problem and possibly a fix?

I was unable to right click on my taskbar icons, but restarting fixed it.

A suggestion I found was going into the Task Manager and selecting Restart on Windows Explorer.
