Ive have been staying up all night and ist now 7:30 in my contry and im watching Futurama and ive been watching movies all night. So, ive was reminded that staying up all night is pretty fun with a friend, how we started to play tekken 3 at midnight for 4 hours, then we realised that tekken wasint bloody enough so we dusted off the old Megadrive and played Mortal kombat til 7 and then we finshed with a George A. Romero movie and we whent to sleep after dinner. So i was wondering if you have an entertaiing story about you staying up all night my fellow Escapist´s......

one time me and my friend stayed up the entire night tossing around ideas for a movie while simultaneously playing pranks on the various cousins scattered around my house (they were visiting). In the morning my friend went to sleep but i stayed up the entire time.

Ever since I quit my job, I stay up all night all the time.

Being pretty much friendless, that means plenty of time for obsessing over casual games I won't admit to playing in the light of day. Darn you, Peggle. Peggle, with Sims 2 breaks.

I know that's not exactly a thrilling story, but...I really don't have many thrilling stories. Aside from being friendless, I am also apparently very boring.

I'm starting to feel bad. Time to go make some stupid digital people have extra-marital affairs and then set themselves on fire.

You know what's fun? Staying up all night while making your friend (who just so happened to be completely smashed) watch old (by our standards) horror films. The Shining + late reaction time = somewhere between gasping for breath and a trip to the emergency room. Especially when the rest of us weren't exactly performing at optimal capacity ourselves. :)

I recently stayed awake for 48 hours, having had nearly nothing to eat but tic-tacs for the entire period of time, and the result was the decision to get both the Trioptimum logo tattooed onto my body somewhere, and that this image will be joined by a second one, commemorating the death of Silent Hill's Harry Mason.....

Well I was trying to do that tonight until I realized that caffeine has the opposite effect on people with ADD. Damnit...

I sometimes stay up late, but my dad usually comes in and tells me to 'go to bloody bed, it's 1 in the morning for Christ's sake'

I might do it on Saturday night, I have to work tomorrow.

I do it so often that it's normal for me, but I've had a few fun nights involving late night parties followed by breakfast at IHOP.
I've also had many nights involving movie marathons and friends, or just staying up by myself doing various things for no reason.

I stayed up for about two and a half days straight. The first night I was up all night playing Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. And then I went and got groceries in the morning. It was so damn nice out, I almost curled up and went to sleep on some building's lawn on the way to the grocery store. Then, in the late afternoon, I started seeing weird shit out of my peripheral vision, so I walked to a pizza place I'd never tried and then went to EB Games.

That was about it. I just crumpled into a heap that night and slept well into the afternoon.

You guys are doing it all wrong. Go out and have fun for your all-nighters, movies and games are for recovering from a hangover the next day.

I went drunk bowling with some friends last night, went to the pub after, saw my girlfriend after that, then ended up not sleeping till almost 6am. Not sure how time dissapeared so fast. Now internet + games + videos for the rest of today = me feel better.

And that's how you do it.

Oh yeah, and I had an interesting all nighter in the French alps. We got carried away with a pub crawl and clubbing, dancing with our pants off on the bar tables and getting punched by bouncers and missed the bus back up the mountain to our ski resort.

Ha! said I, I have always yearned to climb a mountain as dawn breaks behind it. But, oh wait... One of our friends (friend A) went missing, off trying to find some girl he met earlier in the night. While we looked for him, our friend (B) hitch hiked up the mountain road to get home, leaving me and one friend (C).

After looking for the two other guys and failing, I came back to find friend C asleep in the snow off the side of the road, when I tried to drag him up he said "Nooooo, just leave me, it's so warm man... so warm in the snow.. just let me sleep for a few more minutes."

I figure this is a bad sign so I make him get up and we begin the walk up the mountain. Oh wait, friend C just ran over to someones house. Now he's banging on their doors and windows, but why?

"Let your dog inside, I think it's cold!" he was screaming at them, but they wouldn't come and talk to him (for very obvious reasons, he was being a menace) Anyway we were bored so we unchained the dog and took it up the mountain with us.

4 Hours or so later we made it home. Friend A we presumed was dead, but friend B was home safe. We fed the dog all our bacon and I had some coco-pops. The sun was up when friend A got back, he thought he was freezing to death and so he broke into some log cabin on the side of the mountain breaking the window with a mug he found, and slept there.

Is that dog real? I'm so tired I just don't even know he says.

Cool dog, that.

And this is the story of why the French hate foreigners.
