Steam sales unpredictability

Hey, guys as much as I love the steam sales they can piss me off so much! So the story is once I saw the steam sales were on I put off buying fable unless it was on offer. Today I spotted it was 25% off and hastily bought it around fifteen minutes ago thinking that they would only put a price reduction on once in the sale. Now it's in the daily sale at 50% off! I was wondering if this has ever happened to you it doesn't have to be steam, you could have just bought a game then walked down the street and saw it was five pounds cheaper?

Don't buy till it's on the front page. I'm picking up Ep: 2 today for that very reason. Magicka aswell but I'm on the fence about Garshasp. I want the ticket but it really just doesn't look like a good game.

At the end of the sale they re-post a bunch of stuff. You should only buy it if its in Today's Deals.

hahaha i feel bad but i had the exact same thinking, except for i'm a bit more "experienced" in dealing with these sales so i knew it was going to happen with fable, so i waited until about a half hour ago and low and behold it was there 50% off =]


if it's around 30-50 dollars and its only 25% off, i usually wait, because at some point in the 6 months ahead they put it down 50-66% usually always

Buy Magicka because I played the demo and it's awesome.

It goes on sale for 75% off a week or so later.

Well. Dangit.
