That would explain all the failed to connect errors I've been getting.

Yeah right now steam, both the website and the client, are not working real well for me. I think it's just server overload atm, with such a big push and what not

If I could just skip work tomorrow, I totally would, but then I'd be out some cash to fund this wallet raping company.

Ever since Team Fortress 2 went free the servers have been a bit slow, so between that and the sales I'd imagine they are going to be rather sluggish.

-Edit: Totally wrong. Steam sales encompasses more than I thought.

Every publisher has their games set a certain amount of by default. So XXXXX games are 25% off. So basicly everything on steam is on sale in some ammount.

Daily deals will be beast so if theres a larger game you have your eye on, wait a bit and see if it hits a daily deal!

Hell I bought Oblivion: Deluxe Edition for $8.50. It took me forever for me to just get to the page to buy it. Steam is so slow and keeps crashing on me...

Thank god I got paid on Monday. Although I'm not going to fall for the initial small reduction on the bigger names and wait until their 'big discount' days.

Ooooooh Myst pack for £7.49. Ok fine... JUST TAKE MY MONEY!

Oh.
My.
God.

The Valve Complete pack. My laptop will run every single one of those games. But I need to pay for college... but I could afford that... but I get paid tomorrow... but I need a new MP3 player... but I already have the Orange Box on 360... but you can't do mods and access the developer console on the 360... but I'd also need to buy a new mouse...

That's just a small sample of my string of thoughts regarding this. Must...resist...
Between all these games including the replayablity or the multiplayer titles like counterstrike and l4d the love valve has for free content...this 50$ will give you more entertainment/time then any other 50$ I can think of you spending.

I know... but FUCKIN' A, I have so many other games to beat! Like 20 of them on my 360 alone! And not enough time! Holy Mother of God (and I'm not even Catholic!), I can't stop debating in my head whether I should do this or not... and there really isn't much reason for me to not to... but...damn it!
That understandable. When I see a sale like this though...I cant hardly buy a new game anymore, I rent and wait for sales. This is a rediculous amount of games for the price of Portal 2.

Its about time Valve got their servers working properlly, ive been having trouble with the steam forums for over a week but now with the Sale up and running nothing will load up.

Its when Steam do their Summer and Winter sales that they really shine as the best DD service on earth. However they can be overpriced on many AAA games even when they knock 50% off, but when they knock 70% plus off thats when im tempted to buy. Otherwise ill stick with buying the cheaper boxed titles off amazon.

When the website is more stable im gonna buy Recetear, I have the pirated version which I never got around to playing and £3.75 is well worth it.
