It's a different kind of system. Steam has a library of games (the ones you own and can play) and then there's stuff in your "inventory". Like, say, an unopened game box.

You can trade stuff in your INVENTORY, but you can't trade games you've actually bought for yourself (your LIBRARY).
Your inventory contains:
- TF2, Portal, etc stuff, like hats.
- Guest passes and coupons
- Gift passes of games you bought for other people. (Say: you want to buy a game that's on sale for someone, but you want to give it at a later time. So you buy it as a gift, and store it in your inventory to give it to them later.)

Anything is up for trade in my tf2 BP. None of it is astounding, but there is a metric fuckton of stranges. Offer up a game if you want. I don't expect anything big at all, I've traded away anything of value, but I can give you a ton of stranges for a cheap game.
