Did anybody play or remember the games "Steppenwolf: the X-creatures project" and/or "Arcane"?
They were wonderful games, Arcane always had a mysterious atmosphere and Lovecraftian legends, and Steppenwolf was full of action and adventure.
Sadly, the site of both games have been shut down, but my question is.. are there any people that like(d) the game or at least remember it? Do you know the reason of deletion?

I've brought them up here in the past when I talked about browser gaming. I loved them, Steppenwolf more than Arcane. I honestly do not remember how I came across them, but I was invested both narratives: Arcane about a family's struggle and race against time to beat a force from before time itself and Steppenwolf's message about the tempation of eternal life and what drives people to search for it. I want somebody to pitch these ideas and they are re-imagined for the current generation.

I found Steppenwolf here: http://www.gamesloon.com/free-cartoon-26/steppenwolf-games-219/index.html

The rest of the links are in here:

I honestly do not know why they took down the site, but I think some license expired or they revamped the site not caring what was there, but luckily some people kept the games. I learned Sarbakan, one of the developers (other being Warner Bros) was acquired by Disney and made just mobile games from 2012 on, with their biggest successes Where's My Water and Crossy Road, I did not know they were involved with these until recently.

I never played Steppenwolf but I rather liked Arcane for being a good lovecraft adaptation. Though the difficulty/time limits could be brutal on those.

First of all, because I really like Steppenwolf, I made a site about it now some time go, and I would want to show it to you: http://steppenwolf-the-x-creatures-project.weebly.com/

Yeah, that's possible. But I always thought it was shut down because of its blood and gore stuff, or such...

I actually found Steppenwolf on a gaming site when I was little, and found Arcane not very long ago... but I do like it, though sometimes it is kind of... horror, obviously, it's Lovecraftian horror... :D XD :p -_-

Well, it's good to see other people interested in these games...
