Steven Universe fans rejoice, for the popular TV series is getting its own game for consoles. Save the Light looks to be similar to the enjoyable mobile game Attack the Light, a light (no pun intended) turn-based RPG with battle mechanics similar to the early Paper Mario games.

While there's currently not much to go by, the screenshots reveal the potential for more party members with the likes of Greg and Connie in tow (is it too much to hope for Peridot?). It also appears the game (or at least a portion of it) is set in Beach City, complete with iconic locations and side characters from the show.
The game is scheduled to come out some time this summer. As a fan of the show and the mobile game, I'm definitely looking forward to this.
