Well when you're asking people about their favorites, you need to understand that most people might like a game you didn't. When going for people's opinions, you must give options they're likely to choose.

And Half-Life wasn't crazy amazing to me, but definitely worth finishing. You should check them out.

So you made a poll, directed to the community, about the best in a particular genre, to be decided by public vote, and are purposefully and knowingly not including things because you don't like/have never experienced them? And then you call us the arseholes.

Wait, so since people in the UK use "arsehole" and people in America use "asshole"; since I'm from America, can I use "arsehole"?

So your angry at people for being angry at a rubbish poll that ultimately means nothing?, sorry but when IGN do a poll these are the guys that have played every single game and their listings are still flawed to other people.

Stop with the polls in that case, clearly its better for the health of all concerned.

The problem isn't so much that you're forgetting peoples' favorite games as you're creating a terrible thread with no room for discussion that will never, ever, ever even conceivably lead to any sort of consensus.

The Europeans give you permission to use your vocal chords how you please.

A poll has eight options, yet there are hundreds of titles in each genre you refer to. So it will never, ever work.

As I am Canadian, I can use both depending upon the context in which they would be most effective.

And rather ironically, opinions are like assholes.

so your poll should have been "hey let's vote on what i think is the best".
That's weird.
Why do you feel the need to create polls, by the way?

EDIT:

NO! You must first submit a form to the European Court of Expletives
