So, I've just finished up a week of working midnights, come home and thought I would enjoy a night cigar and a little ZP before heading to bed. I wanted to end my week content and relaxed. And then my eyes strayed from the video for a moment and my calm demeanor left me when I saw one of the top forum posts - "Why does Bathesda get away with releasing buggy/broken games?" And then I came to the forums, and what do I see right away... "Things that Skyrim Needs" and "Skyrim: What broke your immersion?"
I just can't take it any more. Look, I'm not saying it's a perfect game. Yes, there are some bugs. No, it's isn't a perfect matrix-like simulation of a fantasy world. But could we please just SHUT UP ABOUT IT?!
"Ohhh no, Bethesda release a game with a huge, vibrant world like almost no other game has done and there are BUGS?!" Eee-fucking-gads! "Boohoo, I should be able to craft pink flamingo lawn ornaments, but Bethesda didn't think of THAT! This game has failed me completely!" *sob sob* "I hate the menu system because I don't understand how the alphabet works!"
Look, I'm not saying that having complaints about the game is wrong. Hell, I've got some minor complaints. We all do. But can we please stop bitching about it online as though Bethesda is some sort of anti-christ bent on creating nothing but terrible, flawed games.
