So I was playing Fallout 3 awhile back. I was finishing up the Point Lookout expansion. Now there are no radio stations in Point Lookout so for the few days I spent finishing the expansion I had gotten used to not hearing any music while I was traveling out in the swamps. When I was finally done I sold my stuff and took the ferry back to the Capital Wastes. But all that is superficial, whats special about this return to the Capital Waste came when I turned the radio on for the first time in a few days. After turning the radio on and hearing the familiar voice of three dog a weird feeling came over me. I felt comfortable, I felt at home. It felt like I had been on a long trip away from home and just gotten back. It was a weird, but comforting feeling. Its probably the most I've ever been immersed in any video game I've played. So fellow escapists, anyone else have an interesting or funny story of how a game sucked you in?
