What are some of the eccentric and strange things you find beautiful.
I find Arabic calling towers and the prayers that emanate from them also very pretty
also arachnids and large explosions

I find the ridiculous, erratic, pointless actions of my friends and family to hold a certain beauty. The ridiculously illogical acts that people take part in during moments of moral weakness often show who they really are under what you see on the surface.

The Flood Infection forms from Halo, specifically the ones that bounce around and fall upside-down in Halo 3. Less of beautiful and more of intricately charming and cute for me, though.

I find the rain to be beautiful each drop is like an intracit painting and when it falls it creates such a nice sound...... It is intersting to me, and even now its raining

Cymothoa Exigua

This is a parasite that attaches to the tongue, cuts off the tongue's circulation, snips it off, then implants itself at the base of the mouth where the tongue used to be.

Strangest part?

The critter then performs all the functions of the tongue, so the fish isn't really even aware it has a parasite living in its mouth.

Beautiful.
And very, very strange.

The way spiders move their legs. This seems to be what freaks out most spider-haters. Also, specific girls (mostly ones with brilliant English/Scottish/Irish accents). That's not to say that all the other men out there hate girls, but there's some I respect purely for their beauty. I never see them as girls I could really 'fall in love with', but they are basically like a beautiful landscape to me - their beauty can make me cheerful and I feel 'honored' to be allowed to be near them/see them. Emma Watson's probably an example here.

Very interesting thread. There's prolly more, but I'm kind of sucked dry at the moment.
