Because God knows I haven't made enough RPs, right?
Even worlds of wonder and magic will one day turn their eyes upward to the stars. The universe of theirs is not one of science and logic but of endless mysteries and marvels, the universe operating on a logic known only to itself and perhaps whatever mysterious beings created it.
A world where great ships travel between stars with sails full of the winds of the aether or by the will of their Sorcerer-Captain, on wings made from the feathers of celestial doves or through the use of portals to the Realms of Fire and Wind, and thousands of other means. From the chilling squid-like living ships of the Culyar to the shining white sailing ships of the Kingdom of the Azure Currents, space is both dangerous and wondrous, beautiful and terrifying.
Our story begins with the crew of the ship Stranger Things , a ship of mercenaries, bounty hunters, and wanderers journeying the rim of civilized space, doing what it takes to stay alive. They are bringing their vessel into the station Glory of Aulnira, a ruined mageship slowly drifting through space. The station has become a port of call for all kinds of scum - pirates, smugglers, mercenaries, vagabonds, and wanderers - and the Stranger fits into all those categories.
There is none. Shit just works.
Kingdom of the Azure Currents: The Kingdom of the Azure Currents are the major benevolent power. Unfortunately, of the three great powers, they are by far the weakest. Their number primarily consists of Humans, but they have alliances with Elven, Dwarven and Gnomish forming a strong federation against the threat of the Culyar. Dozens of other races exist within the Kingdom, it's allied states, and in small allied system-states around the Kingdom.
The Magocracy of Aulnira: The Aulnira are amoral but reasonable mages, caring little about anything except pursuit of their own power. While they are not actively cruel, they are extremely pragmatic. Their number consists of a spread of powerful mages of all races, with vast underclasses of orcs, goblins, humans, and halflings who act as serfs.
The Culyar: There is little truly known about the race of the Culyar. As far as anyone knows, no one has ever seen a member of their race up close, the closest they've ever gotten being their sprawling living ships. However, their servant and slave races have been often seen - the Culyar employ massive armies of trolls, ogres, giants, orcs, and goblins, and have made alliances with the Dark Elves, Demons, and other races. Any race that attempts to oppose the Culyar is brutally crushed and their people enslaved, put to work in the Culyar's vast mines.

Okay, if you can find a race in a book, movie, game, or your own imagination, it has a place in this universe. While the most common races are standard fantasy races like Elves and Orcs, millions of other races exist even within the explored universe.
