Strangest way you've died in a Game

I used to keep a flash drive of screenshots in games when I did something cool or strange. This is possibly the weirdest of all. I got this while playing Deus Ex.

I just randomly fell down and died in Oblivion.

I somehow was transported off a cliff when I was fighting a random bandit by Leyawin and when I went out in the water, there was some cliff there and I fell to my death.

Strangest thing.

I was killed my a mudcarb.

It was dark and I panicked Okay! Its the games fault for the overly dramatic music at a mudcrab encounter. I thought I was being beat by a troll, I never even looked down!

While playing Far Cry Instincts, a barrel got hit and started perpetually spinning on it's rim. I decided to touch it. That was a bad move.

Well, in planescape torment, since you character can get better from pretty much anything, there are a lot of interesting ways to "die" . My favorite is when you enter a art museum and find a statue of a man who was petrified with "a horrible curse on his lips" and if you unpetrify him with an item you can buy, the curse turns out to be so powerful it will kill you. You get better of course, and then the museums curator acts amusingly nonchalant when you talk to him regarding the loss of the statue.

In Re4 before you get on that boat. I was shooting those fish and then... That big mother-fish came out and ate me. WTF?

OT: I was once killed by a randomly falling plane in San Andreas.

I had just walked out of a clothing store in San Fierro, to which I heard the sound of propellers. Next thing I hear: It slams into the building, busts 3/4ths of my health, and causes mass panic.

most of 'em are in glitchy games of halo 3 on live. i can't remember any, but i can remember a weird kill i got on mass effect earlier today;

I was ramming a geth colossus to keep it from shooting me on virmire, but i pushed it right between two big rocks along the edge of the drivable area, and it got back up, then i tried to squeeze into the rocks and hit it again, but then it just fell through the floor, and i saw it fall through and down, then it died and i got the XP....
...
yeah, saved me about 10 seconds of shooting it normally, but still nifty.

Not me, but once, when I was playing Red Alert 1, an enemy soldier died of fright. It was probably a glitch, but it was still cool. You see, it was a lone infantry dude on one end of the bridge, and I had 5 Mammoth Tanks on the other end. I didn't shoot him, he just died.

In star wars battlefront 2, I was piloting a turret on a starship when all of the sudden my character has some kind of heart attack and died.

My turret wasn't destroyed, and nobody shot me in the back or anything, I just fell out of the chair and got a nice third person look at myself while I waited to respawn.

I was playing BC2 and I was just walking around and I tripped over my shoelaces or something. It said I had committed suicide. WTF

Also while exploring a building in fallout 3 I was low on health and searching for stimpacks when I spotted a skeleton halfway inside a wall. It was spinning around extremely fast, and I decided to touch it. Ugh.

Oh, I actually have a really cool one for this thread:

I was playing inFamous and I had just used arc restraint on a bad guy and stuck him to the railroad tracks. As I was running away, I realized, "Hey, why don't I stay and watch him get hit by the train?" So I ran back and did.

After a good 30 seconds of waiting, I finally saw the train approaching. And when it hit him? It slammed into his body at full-speed and ran directly over it. It was awesome! I felt like a cheesy cartoon villain who had just pinned a damsel in distress to the train tracks with similar results. Unfortunately, in my celebration, the other train came, I got stuck in between the two, thrown back and forth and died.

It was almost like videogame karma. Now I'm starting to think that games are getting too smart, thanks to this one's sadistic sense of humor. Although, I must admit, it was pretty funny.

In Oblivion, I just up and died, there was no poison (poison apples included), illnesses, spell/enchantment effects. Nothing, I just straight up died. Twas' weird.

In Oblivion I once drowned myself by accident...


Also in Halo 3, I was killed by Marines who rammed me with a Warthog over a cliff, and the best part the last dialogue I heard was "Oh my god THEY killed the chief"
