Strategies that work in Ranked but not Normals, and vice-versa. (LoL)

For the first time in my life, I found a strategy that works wonders in normals, but not Ranked: RoamJax. It works fantastically in normals, where you can usually make almost any pick you want with little resistance. The moment I try it in Ranked though, everyone immediately flips out and either dodges or throws the game. Seriously, the junglers will refuse to gank, people won't even try to switch lanes. All hell breaks loose the moment you do anything out of the ordinary.

This got me wondering, are there any other strategies like this out there?

anyway on topic: I don't really have a strategy like that but I have always wanted to go double mid, i saw a lux and a mordekaiser do it once, of course I didn't know they where going to do it so I was left alone against two other guys in bottom.

Hmmm, double top no jungle is practically a free win for the other team if the jungler and the top are competent after the S3 jungle reworks. It still works ok in Normals because people are generally more willing to try to 2v1 for no reason or overextend for one minion and die. It wins games against stupid and careless people and not much else so Ranked tops should be hopefully ok against it. Still, you can never trust randomers fully. Ever.

Seriously, I have jungled against this three times in the past two days and I won each and every one of them. You take your jungle to get you to lvl 4 then take the enemy jungle and you will be lvl 6 before the solo lanes are and have an item advantage. The double top people get instagibbed by the lvl 6 double buff HECARIM ulting over the wall when they're only lvl 4.

You can just repeat this forever since a duo lane will most likely push like there's no tomorrow. After the 2nd or 3rd time the solo top can 1v2 them if he got the kills.

I don't break the meta much in that I am always jungling. Always. I don't have to give a shit if our AD Carry is getting his farm stolen by "support" Veigar. I only need to walk in, get some kills and walk out. Peace!

I don't really play much solo Ranked since it's just generally unpleasant, I duo with a friend sometimes but the main focus is Rookie and I's 5 man premade Ranked team. Skype is God Mode after all. I'm rather pleased to see that my jungle Nocturne holds up in Ranked and isn't just me randomly curbstomping Normals. Jungle is pretty damn chill to be fair. Especially if you're Nocturne or HECARIM, you don't even need to take a proper ganking route, you can walk into lane/jump a wall with Paranoia/Onslaught of Shadows and they have no time to react whatsoever regardless of wards. Then you wander back into your jungle to farm again.

HECARIM can just use his speed buff and run directly into a lane if they're that pushed. So hilarious. Speed boots are awesome on him XD

I always gank mid first, so you might get that chance if we played together.
