Street Fighter X Tekken: Reveals and Updated Info

So along with all the other E3 talk and reveals and all that, Street Fighter X Tekken was making a scene with Capcom this time with an early build demo as well as some reveals.

While 4 characters were already teased in separate trailers already, they finally made their appearance in game, as well as in a new trailer:


So on the Street Fighter side, Cammy and Sagat were announced, and on the Tekken Side, Julia and Hwoarang.

Making the cast atm:
Street Fighter - Ryu, Ken, Guile, Abel, Chun-Li, Cammy, and Sagat

Tekken - Kazuya, Nina, Bob, King, Marduk, Julia, and Hwoarang.

Capcom also went and revealed Cole of Infamous as a guest character for people who pick up the PS3/PSVita copies of the game.

Some other bits of info were also released by Ono(the head of the SFxT team, as well as the SF4/SSF4 team). Those being:

-expect around the same sort for cast size as SSF4:AE, so around 35-40 characters

-expect to see some SF characters that didn't make it into SSF4

-don't expect a huge story like MK9, this is gonna be fun cross-over Capcom fighter

-SFxT might feature a Youtube upload feature if the version in Third Strike: Online Edition turns out well

I'm glad that they actually showed off some more gameplay.

That being said, it looks good. I don't know if I'll get because I haven't played 3rd Strike yet. And that seems a little bit more appealing to me at the moment. So, I'll probably end up waiting on this one. Or not.............or, who knows.

Now that Hwoarang has been confirmed, I'm so all over this game that it isn't even funny. He also looks like he will be great to play with. I hate to use the massively over used statement "Day 1 Purchase" but that's exactly what SFxT will be for me.

Indeed. I haven't played a Tekken game myself, but I'm really interested in trying one now, with this game coming out, as well as the Tekken CGI movie.

Just hate releasing info like this, when I don't even have the console to play it and enjoy it....

I think we can pretty much confirm M. Bison, Zangief, Akuma, and Sakura on the Street Fighter side and Jin, Bryan Fury, Eddy Gordo, and Kuma on the Tekken side. Come on, who DOESN'T want to see Zangief fight Kuma.

When hwoarang appeared I heard the screams of many a fanboy and fangirl.
And was that Asuka at the end there? If they're putting in Asuka then they need Lili!
And I swear if the fighting game whore yoshimitsu isn't in this I don't know what ill do.

Looks like great fun. I've been hearing the gameplay feels like a pleasant blend between SSFIV, Tekken 6 and MvC3, which sounds a bit manic to me but apparently handles extremely well. I can't wait to give it a try.

Also, the entire scenario of "Street Fighter characters versus Tekken characters" is something I've been dreaming about since I was a kid. Seriously, it's right up there with Street Fighter vs Mortal Kombat on my list of "games I want to see but probably never will." I still kind of can't believe it's really happening.
