Stuff you hated as a kid but love now...

1. Reading - when I was a kid, you couldn't pay me to read. Now, I seek to absorb as much information, literature, and entertainment as possible.

2. Broccoli - I fucking love broccoli!

Sort-of-example:

Buffy Seasons 4-7. I was about 14 when I first saw Buffy, and I got it all at once on DVD. I got the jokes, saw where they were trying to inject drama, but I thought it was all disjointed and avilicious.

Then I grew up, lived through some of the stuff they were portraying, and realised exactly what it was they were going on about.

Many shows my dad used to watch, i'd be sat in the lounge with him on sundays and he used to watch what i thought was the worlds most mind numbing shit. Amongst these are:
Sharpe
Hornblower
Stargate SG-1

Yet now, sharpe especially, i adore them.

Blood and gore.

I absolutely hated blood and gore when I was young. Now I love it, but only done right.

Coffee. I used to vomit every time I even smelt it, now I can't get enough of the stuff. (So long as it's proper, freshly ground coffee. Not that shit they call Instant 'Coffee')

Music, of any kind. It used to make me think I was bleeding out my ears, now I'm usually found with either Rock or Metal songs turned up full.

Drawing. I used to snap Pencils and Pens so I didn't have to draw. Now my Teachers are banning me from drawing because I draw on my School Books far too much.

Writing. Same as above. Now I've got almost two entire Novels typed out on my Computer.
