Every hollywood horror movie made in the last ten years. After Scream was made (fun though that film was) the whole genre became far too smug and self referential and stopped being scary, and Hollywood seems to have just forgotten how to do an actually scary movie.
And no, the Saw series were not scary, they were ridiculous.
