I am making this thread to ask the question because well I made a statment before that DC, WB, and DC "fans" all only care about Batman and his universe in Gotham City (Like Catwoman/Joker/Harley Quinn/The Suicide Squad/etc.) and nothing else, with the occasional Superman Comic Book or Justice League/Team Up comics like the Crisis Comics.

Does anyone know any famous Comic Books of Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, the Flash, Aquaman, and others?

Be it good or bad?

Geoff Johns entire run on Green Lantern in very highly regarded and has a lot of great story arcs, to name a few...

Green Lantern: Rebirth
Sinestro Corps War
Secret Origin

Also Watchmen... Hmm? Probably could have just said Watchmen and left it at that.

I already mententioned that Infinite crisis and 52 are part of JLA/Team Up Crossover Comics.

So far the fact that only 2 people posted here just makes me sad and shows most people just reads DC for Batman.

Unless more posters here prove me otherwise.

Eh, you got me at "famous". I liked Gail Simone's run on Birds of Prey. Also Stephanie Brown as Batgirl, the pre-52 Zatanna and various others, but I'd not say they were that famous...or even always good, just decent stuff that was around.

Does that include Vertigo? Because that would open the door to:
- Fables
- Hellblazer
- Preacher
- Sandman
- Transmetropolitan
- V for Vendetta
- Watchmen

Well yes and no mostly because V for Vendetta has a huge influance on protetors.

And Watchmen isn't considered Vertigo.

But ah Vertigo Comics, you make such awesome stuff.

I would have figured the fact that so few people posted would be an indication that they probably don't care to read superhero comics at all and thus would have nothing to contribute... No I suppose you're right and they must they really must be endorsing Batman with their silence...

I know Kevin Smith is endorsing Batman in his review of the Ultimate Cut of Batman v Superman:

That Batman faced Mount Rushmoore :p

Do you watch the DC television series? Flash and Arrow and the like? I feel that should be right up your alley, you get a massive interconnected television DC universe without any pesky Batman in sight... That seems to be their prevailing creative impetous, to build a world on the strength of all the characters who aren't Batman... Even Superman only gets a cameo.

I mention Comic Books themselves, not other media.

Neil Gaiman's Sandman is probably my second favourite comic book series of all. It's set in the DC universe, and he runs into several DC figures, so I'll go with that.

There are also several brilliant comics which focus on the villains, like Azzarello's Lex Luthor: Man of Steel, or Penguin: Pain and Prejudice.

Azzarello's Luthor is so good.

I liked Stephanie more as Batgirl because she sucks as Spoiler. We all know Cassandra Cain is the coolest one though

Who really cares if people like Batman? You don't need any validation over the comics you like. You're not cooler than anyone else for disliking Batman. This whole anti-Batman sentiment is like a 14 year old trying to prove how much better than everyone he is by not liking something popular. Batman is not even in my top 15 superheroes but I still fucking love the guy and read his comics.

Hmmm, of the comics I am subscribed to right now I think the only one that has absolutely nothing to do with Batman or Superman is The Flash, as long as you count Batman's former/current sidekicks as being Batman related. If not, then also count Teen Titans (which is lead by Robin) and Titans (which is led by Nightwing). Detective Comics is kind of shared between Batwoman and Batman, with some focus on Spoiler, Red Robin, Orphan (Cassandra Cain), Clayface, and now Batwing. I picked it up as a fan of Red Robin (Tim Drake), which kind of sucks a little right now because he has been... *ahem* removed from the plot for the time being.

Bear in mind I'm only restricting myself because I'm trying not to blow a shitload of money while I'm unemployed. If I were more willing to spend money I'd probably be reading Wonder Woman and Green lantern comics too. But as far as DC comics go, my priority is The Flash, then Superman, then Batman. Right now, I'd probably rate Batman as my least favorite comic of them all, but it's still not bad, just kind of "eh" sometimes.

Yes, funnily enough, there is nuance to my opinions as a DC fan. Weird how generalizations like "people only like DC for Batman" kind of fall apart under any scrutiny, isn't it?

Bruh you're subscribed to all the mediocre titles (barring Superdad, I love that comic so much). Both of the Green Lantern titles is where it's at. The only good issue of the current Flash one was the most recent one. Tom King writes a shitty Batman (ironic because I loved his New 52 Grayson book).

Yeah? Hmmm. I mean I like Wally West too much to drop the only book featuring him, and they just wrapped up a story arc so it may get better. Never been a huge Green Lantern fan. Any books featuring Kyle Rayner or John Stewart? I kinda like them, at least compared to Hal Jordan. I may drop Batman. This last story was pretty melodramatic and weird. Besides, every comic I've read has been an improvement over the New 52 comics I read. Except maybe Batman.

Eh, I may shuffle some subscriptions around. Right now though I'm pretty invested in most of the stories and I want to see how they continue.
