Now the trailer has been officially released so its not a blurry mess. What do you think?

EDIT: Sorry for those commenting about "why" they released the official trailer when the blurry one leaked. Wrote 'why' instead of 'what'.

Because if people are gonna see it anyway WB wants to show it from its best side, so to speak. Not that I get why they wouldn't release it now that SDCC is over anyway. What are you afraid of? That people'll like it and go watch the movie once it's released?

Looks great, though. It honestly does.

Joker is scary in a PewDiePie/Markiplier "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! SO SCARY!" way and its kinda' sad.
I can totally see WB planning this trailer out not as a way to sell normal fans on the movie, but as bait for YouTube/Internet celebs to gawk and scream at.
I just feel such a wave of planned-by-committee off this. I mean Harley and Joker were practically designed with DeviantArt in mind and Deadshot with the inevitably terrible franchise game protagonist role in mind.
Everyone else I'm guessing is simple fanfic slash bait for Harley.

Okay, my two cents...

First off all, I'm sure the actor playing the Joker is great, and he'll give his best.
But.... the way he looks and those few seconds that I've seen ( and where suppose to be picked to make me excited) makes me think I'm looking at Zass dressed up as the joker so WB can get a bit more of that Joker pie.

The trailer overall looks like an overwhelming "meh" with the usual dark broody "realism" that most of DC seems to be having these days.

Everything up unto this point makes me believe that this is just another by-the-books production.
I, for one, can't wait for the bit where they have a internal fight about something-or-the-other that splits the group up, but eventually come back together for the big final sequence.

Oh... and that line "I put them in a hole, and threw away the hole" yeah.... that was as cring worthy as this:

(no idea how to embed that.)

Didn't go much on the trailer at all. Music seemed really out of place and felt like it was for an entirely different movie.

"We must be some kind of Suicide Squad..." Hey! Did the Gotham writers get in on this with their amazingly subtle writing?

Leto sounded pretty good for the few seconds he spoke, still 50/50 which way his performance will go, but as I've said all along visually he's a mess. He looks like he should be in the next Fast And The Furious movie with his tat's and pimp car. Thing's like the damaged tattoo are just way too on the nose. He simply doesn't look like Joker to me. At all.

Still not too big of a fan of Harley and Joker. Not liking his tattoos and overall design and Harley doesn't sound right. Her voice is too plain.

Deadshot looks like he might be the best of them to watch so I hope he is front and centre most of the movie.

I feel like this is going for dark and edgy but will end up being unintentionally campy. And because of that I'm looking forward to it. I don't have high hopes for Harley or Joker though.

Man, David Ayer really likes his movies grim and gritty, doesn't he. Whereas the Batman v. Superman trailer at least showed some colour, this seems to still exist in the realm or black, grey and cool blue. Music didn't fit with the movie at all. Wasn't this supposed to be DC's weird, offbeat movie? Then why is the music like something in the TDKR trailers?

It is a universal law of the internet that everyone will hate whenever a new movie joker is revealed for not being similar to the previous movie joker

Or not being similar to the cartoons because people don't understand that having different variation of something doesn't mean it's a bad thing and doing the same character in the same way over and over and over and over again is just booooooooring.

And can people stop using the word "Grim and gritty" when no one else in the production themselves aren't using that term. Or is the internet running out of words and phrases to make themselves sound a bit better when trying trying to go against or insult a film even though it's just a fucking movie!!!

I personally dislike his look more than anything else. He looks like a total mess. Tat's and grill do not equal Joker to me. I'm kinda 50/50 if Leto will do a good performance or not, we shall see, his voice did sound pretty threatening in the trailer.

I believe several others on different forums have mentioned the teeth are more evocative of prison-style dental work than a grill. But either way, when I see the internet complaining about the look of a character defined by his manic and expressive behavior that follows no discernible pattern or reason apart from recurring color motifs, it seems...odd, at best.

Or is that a directorial choice to make particular scenes stand out, or even symbolically show characters who want to stand out and rise above what they see as the dreary, banal masses? After all, Harley and the Joker look pretty colorful to me. And certain scenes definitely seem to showcase particular attention to lighting.

Joker actually sounded and looked proper crazy when he was saying "Oh, I'm not going to kill ya..." but then it was all undone when they showed the "I'm just going to hurt you.." part.

I will be pleasantly surprised if this movie ends up being better than the DC Animated film 'Batman: Assault on Arkham'. Emphasis on "surprised". You can practically hear the gears grinding trying to keep this thing moving.

I really liked this trailer! I like how Killer Croc looks in motion (so far), I love Deadshot's full costume and Harley seems alright so far. I need to hear more lines out of her to get a full impression. I even like The Joker in this! Now this could just be retroactive; Batman v Superman left a sour taste in my mouth and Suicide Squad (Amanda Waller looks great by the way) provided more color and personality than any of the red capes who may or may not be coming.

That being said; this was no Deadpool trailer.
