So, what are my fellow Escapists' game-related plans for this summer? LAN parties? Catching up on games recently released? Going to any game conventions or tournaments? Going to do an epic game marathon? Getting into competitive gaming?

So far, my plans consist of WoW (getting to lvl. 80 and training to be a tank, getting geared up, etc.) and the occasional 360 game (looking at Fallout: New Vegas and Halo Wars), and I'm also thinking if there's some way to rent a beach vacation house with wifi and have a WoW/360 party (complete with grilling and alcohol-related amenities) with my friends (and maybe try out a Halo drinking game where people take a shot for every death they get while playing coop legendary). [sub]Edit[/sub] Almost forgot, I'm also going to try to get something like a Super-Bowl get-together for E3.

I have to go through my backlog of 60+ games. I won't be able to get through them all, but I'd like to get a nice chunk done.

I'll also be picking up Alpha Protocol and Fallout: New Vegas (if it comes out during the summer).

I got a Gamefly account for the summer. Now I get to play all those games that I wasn't quite interested in enough to buy. Looking at Mirror's Edge, Borderlands, Tales of Vesperia, Modern Warfare 2, Fallout 3, Red Dead Redemption, etc.

I've got Deus 1 + 2 to work through, FF12 to finish and GTA:SA to enjoy. I also just bought a GameCube, so I guess that'll ruin any chances I have of a social life.

After I move into my girlfriend's place, I plan on playing back through some of the old classics that I stocked up on over the holiday season (Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy IV) before delving into new or revisited material I started and never beat because of winter depression and school (Ace Attorney Investigations, Phoenix Wright Trials and Tribulations, Persona 4, Devil May Cry 1-3.)

I don't think I will buy a single game during the summer. I am not planning to play much either as well.

I'll be continuing my efforts to squeeze in even the smallest amount of gaming in my hectic, raising a child life.

I just got an xbox 360, so I'll be playing all of the games from the past several years that I've missed out on. I just started Mass Effect, and I can't even express how much fun I'm having with it.

Trying to complete Disgaea 3, simply unlocking(and beating) everything is annoying.

The problem is that the x-dimension(challenge maps to unlock a more difficult game mode) require stupid things like throwing, I have never thrown a character, never had to throw a character and now I need specialized throwers for a few maps.
Hell, I would have preferred that "defeat Baal" was the requirement to unlock harder maps, at least getting the damage to defeat an enemy with 18 million health is a clear goal.

I also might start WoW again for a few months, I always wanted a Druid tank, and I still have a 77 Paladin with a lot of healing equipment somewhere.

I'll be catching up on Bioshock 2 and then Alpha Protocol when it comes out. I'm really looking forward to it. :D

I'll probably finish Mario Galaxy 2 and then start getting better scores in Sin & Punishment 2, while near the end getting and beating Metroid: Other M.

I'll try to finally get around to finishing Star Ocean 4. I just keep getting distracted by other games every time I want to sit and play a good chunk of it.
