Do you like them, if not than why, if you do than what kinds of them do you like wearing? Do you treat them as purely functional or aesthetic?

I myself never cared that much about sunglasses until recently, now I'm trying to get a pair of teashades (Jhon Lennon glasses) although I'm starting to get second thoughts.

There is no sun in my basement and even then, I slumber through the day

Sun doesn't bother me enough for me to carry sunglasses around. That's about it. I had some pairs before but it's too much work walk around and try not to forget them anywhere. Besides, I wear glasses now, switching back and forth seems retarded. Well, to be fair, my glasses do have sun protectors I can attach/detach whenever I want but those are even more annoying to carry around when they are off.

I don't hate or like them. They are something I have never worn for practical reasons. Although I really could go for a pair right now, too god dam bright right now. Bloody sun. I feel I might melt any second.

When driving, snowboarding, fishing, plane watching and looking menacing. Yknow, actually using the functions of sunnies. Dont understand people who wear them everywhere, including indoors.

Being a wearer of prescription glasses, normal sunglasses are useless to me.

...but all of my lenses transition in sunlight, and yes, that's pure function. My eyes are a little bit sensitive.

I absolutely love them and have spent way more on a pair of sunglasses than I have on any other article of clothing, including things like full blown winter jackets or boots. Not that you need to spend a lot to get nice ones, but at the time the style I loved was only available as a higher end version.

For me, I suppose there is a mix of form and function.. but form definitely is more important given that baseline functionality is pretty much the same across the board.

My personal favourite pair: Oakley A Wire 2.0s with red iridum lenses and gunmetal frames. So nice.

I own some nice sunglasses (Oakleys & some converted vintage Ray-Bans) and like to wear good ones when its sunny. Squinting was one of the things my optometrist told me was screwing up my eyes (no pun intended), plus light gives me headaches, so I wear them out a lot.

Never indoors though. I don't have high enough douche levels/enough swagger to pull that off.

They allow me to be outside in the lovely sun without frying my retinas, so I love them.
I also like the aesthtic.
And I can look where I want without people knowing.

We know Jonluw. We know.

I don't have any sunglasses, but I like the Lennon specs.

Mostly for functional reasons, so I don't have to squint in direct sunlight. Though they are also helpful for avoiding eye-contact, so I don't kill anyone with my death glare.

My life would not be complete without a decent pair of aviators...

But seeing as I lack a pair, i can only conclude that my life sucks... Plus we are having a rather good bit of sun here in the UK right now... Which makes my lack of aviators even more apparent.

I've also learned the value of spending a decent amount of money on a pair... You actually do get what you pay for...

I keep a pair in the car and another in my flight bag for obvious reasons, and I have to wear safety glasses when shooting which come in a variety of tints. I'm not very tolerant of bright sunlight though.

Looking at your name, it seems like you'd need some.
I mean, I look at... things... and the worst thing I'll get is a slap across the face.

You might end up with some jailtime, mate.

I'm quite close to a vampire. I may not burn, but my eyes hate the sun. Sunglasses are a must when going out into the sun.

I don't like them because the cheap plastic they are made of is always too rigid and the hurt after a few mins of wearing them.

I only wear them when it's really sunny, like in egypt or the heat wave last week. Having to switch between my regular glasses and my sunglasses can get a bit annoying though.

I wear sunglasses while outside in the sun. They are purely functional and come off when I go back inside.

I don't get it. Did you just call me a pedophile or something?
