Ever since I was a little kid I loved super heros and they just seemed well..... cool to me so basically what I'm asking is:
If you were to have a super power what would it be?

Tough one. I'd like to take the "Flying Brick" option, so I could have Super-Strength and Flught BUUUT I doubt that's what the OP wanted to hear. I'll say Elasticity. Alot of uses there.

One of two.
Diamond's ability, in some book I can't be bothered to remember the name of, to transform herself into crystal and be completely indestructible, but unable to move.
Or perhaps the ability to eat food telepathically.
I could by a restaurant and the patrons would watch helplessly as their paellas disappeared before their very eyes. Of course, this is bloody useless at fighting crime, but gimme a break, I'm hungry.

I would like either the ability to phase through objects or the ability to teleport. Either way, I'm going to be honest and say I wouldn't be a very good person.

Teleportation. I could make a fortune popping into bank vaults and looting whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. Think of all the places in the world you could visit..
So you would be living the "Jumper" lifestyle? Quick question. Would you actually help people? Just saying that would be a good power to have in case of natural disaster or hold-up gone wrong.

The power to kill and resurrect people with a single thought.

No repercussions.

Edit: To make it really comic villain-worthy, every time I resurrected someone I'd lose five years off of my life and every time I killed someone I'd gain one.

I'd go with teleportation, because of all the places I could go and all the time I could save getting to everywhere I wanted to go.

Power of persuasion, like Lelouch's Geass except less forceful. So I guess I'd want super-human charisma.

Time travel without any aging to myself.

Imagine no 9/11. No levy break during Hurricane Katrina. John Lennon being alive and making subpar music, as all famous musicians eventually do. No Holocaust. No Jesus ever being crucified. No fear of depicting Muhammad. No AIDS. No cancer. Acceptance of homosexuals and blacks much earlier. No anti-science crusade.

*sighs*

The power of levitation would be ausome to have, because then while I walk in the hallways of my highschool I could make everyone else float in the air clearing the hallway, and making it easier to get to class.

Another power that would be cool to have, is the power over fire, YEAH BURN BABY BURN!!!!! DISCO INFERNO!!!!!!

Now the catch is, can you only resurrect people you killed, or anyone who's dead? cause then you could balance that out quickly.

OT: I remember thinking about this cause I thought about entering that Superhero reality show thing on Syfy. The problem was how to incorporate a suit to my powers.
BUt I went with the power to take any writing/print/painting and taking on the characteristics of that thing, kinda like a living suit of ink on me.

So if i walke dup to a jimi hendrix painting I could pull the painting from reality and get Jimi Hendrix's talent. Or if I took a picture of a bird, I got flight.

IN reality, all I need to do is find a comic book of a hero with multiple super powers and I'd be set. Oh, and the base ability to control ink/paint/lead/stuff you use to write/draw/things like that.

The catch? I can only take on the characteristics of one thing at a time (no mixing bird flight with tiger... tigerness).
