Survival Horror? Dead, Alive or in the Shadows for now?

Well for last year or so many Survival horror genre's have pretty much dissapeared and have been replaced with Adventure games that happen to have Zombies, Mutants or creepy as heck Aliens, do you think Survival Horror will ever return to the Triple A industry and make profit, or fizzle out and stay in the indie crowd?

Amnesia: The dark decent was just released last year,Frictional does a great job with their Horror.

But for now, it is remaining in the shadows, though,going back to Frictional, their HPL3 engine looks quite nice.

Yeah, no AAA industry is going to touch horror for awhile, as horror games are risky and generally hit or miss, so they wont make as much.
