Why is this not KOTOR 3?

So... Starwars Galaxy 2? Honestly, this looks like SWG, and I've played that for years. Not an amazing game, but this doesn't look too different (especially with all the Jedi's that are going to be running around), just with some fancy new graphic's update and smaller worlds. Only plus side: No more random player housing, which would have worked fine if they made planets designed just for that and have placement zones and such, but instead they let 'em put it anywhere, that's the only thing I see improved.
I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of flaming for this, even though I've played SWG for years, even around NGE and such, oh well.

Wow...that was incredibly boring, just like every other bit of gameplay footage I've seen of this game. I still fail to see what the hell is so interesting about this game, it just looks so damn bland and derivative. Being fully voiced and shoehorning some story mode in isn't interesting and the not so interesting gameplay doesn't help that fact.
Ah well whatever, this game will be successful regardless of it's quality. It's made by Bioware and has Star Wars in the name, it will seel on those two factors alone. Still has failed to garner any interest to me. Oh well, have fun with it I guess.

Good grief people are quick to smite a game before even doing some damn reading up on it (let alone await the release). Bioware has been saying since day one that they want to make this a multiplayer story driven Star Wars experience, they've explicitly said they are not out to dethrone WoW. This is closer to a multiplayer KotOR and to me, if it can deliver that I will be pleased with it.
I love and cant wait.

Saying it looks like WoW is like saying Dragon Age looks like Dungeons and Dragons... what else is it supposed to look like? This is how most MMOs look, aside from the stylized graphics. They do that so that it scales down well, something WoW has proven is VERY important if you want to appeal to a wide audience. It needs to look good on the super top end systems as well as the people trying to play it on graphing calculators.
wow the graphics aren't that bad, are you expecting fucking perfection on an mmo for graphics? sense does not make much you to?
if it's kotor with lots of content and it doesn't force you into annoying ass wow like raiding and bullshit involving that, i might actually give it a go for my first mmo, if not ill at least purchase it to see what its about at first.
