Take The Escapist Spaceship Quiz

Reverse the polarity of the neutron flow and show off your spaceship smarts with this quiz.

For as long as humans have had the ability to look towards the heavens, they have dreamed of someday flying amongst the stars. Or at least I have. Sadly, crappy mathematic ability and a lack of disposable income mean that the closest I'll ever come to space travel are the kinds of crafts featured in this week's quiz. (I have, however, gotten to be weightless, and it was pretty damn cool.)

As always, you can take as long as you like on the quiz, and even retake it if you didn't get 100%, but your cumulative time will affect your position on the leaderboards.

8/10. Not bad. The ones I got wrong were the Blake's Seven one and the Phobos one. And to be fair, I've never even watched Blake's Seven.

7/10. Not bad considering I had to guess for every question that was about a show/movie and not a game.

Even the Star Wars question, which was probably an easy one. I guess right for it, though.

What do ships from The Matrix have to do with spaceships? They don't fly in space, they fly mainly through the sewers.

Hah, I'm currently second with two tries and 2:13. Will surely be beaten really soon, considering I guessed three quarters of the questions. I don't understand why is page loading being counted as time spent on the quiz, since I surely took quite a lot less reading and answering than it took to load the pages :p Oh well, it's fun stuff so I don't mind!

First quiz in ages I've had 100% on, now I feel ashamed.

But not as ashamed as the people who don't know about the Phobos should, call yourself gamers!?

70% without knowing most of them. But rather than discussing my score "Reverse the polarity of the neutron flow" this is the worst offender i've seen so far in the "reverse..." kindo of sentences, as a Nuetro, that has it's root on Nuetral, doesn't have a ploarity.

No Enterprise or Serenity questions not because we don't love them (oh, believe me, we do), but because they would be just too damn obvious. Besides, we had quizzes on both Star Trek and Firefly. Gotta spread the love around.

And "reverse the polarity of the neutron flow" is a quote and/or riff on all the gibberish that gets slung around in sci-fi. So lighten up. Sheesh.
