Yeah, I got the orange box for the '360 from blockbuster a week ago, and, of such, have become obsessed with it, but before I got it, I tried the weekend trial that was for TF2 on the computer in may, and that was amazing, with loads more maps than the TF2 on the Xbox 360.

Why is this?

I don't know why they wont put all the new maps and updates on the 360 version.

All I know is eventually they will add all the new updates and maps on the 360 version soon.

I'm pretty sure they said it has something to do with the 360 not having enough RAM or memory to handle it. Don't quote me on this though.

If more than 15 people played TF2 on 360 then maybe they would i remember playing the orange box on christmas day and waiting 4 hours to get my first match

No. Valve are PC fanboys.

We are the chosen ones so we get better stuff.
We should be equals, goddamn PC bourgeois.
Basically Valve have said they haven't forgot about us 360 users and all the updates will be coming to 360 at some point, in one package for free suposedley.

Maybe because it was christmas day?
I can normally jump into a match within a few seconds.

I've fairly recently gotten into TF2, and I just successfully converted a friend o' mine to it, too.

So I sure hope at least *some* of the updates come out soon. I wants ma sandvich!

I never have trouble finding a match on the 360.

I thought Valve wasn't updating for the 360 because Microsoft would force them to charge for it, which Valve didn't want to do.

You are indeed correct, it's do-able, but over a much longer time period.

That was L4d if i`m not mistaken , though the update did eventually go for free

An easy solution to both of these problems: dedicated 360 servers run by end users
Or better yet, update the console code and bridge the PC server to allow 360 and PC users to play together. If it's a windows-based machine, why can't it play with windows-based clients? I forget what game it was, but I saw one that was going to offer a server program so users could host the game on a PC for a 360 title. I'm glad to see that barrier coming down, I'm inching closer and closer to buying a console.

I would have thought christmas day would have been a pretty big time for gamers ,what with the present opening and whatnot, maybe it`s more popular in the states ? (i live in the UK so i don`t see many yank players due to time differences)

the orange box, with its 5 games, takes up a lot of memory on disc, Valve is doing what they can to fit all of the items and maps onto the 360 version

I heard a rumor that the updates will come to the 360 with the demoman (possibly +engineer) update

I noticed that too in the handful of games i`ve played ,shame i couldn`t find more matches because those that i got were fun ,definatly one of the best communtities on 360 (well compared to the swear-tastic COD games)

Where did you hear this rumor? The schoolyard? That's completely unsubstantiated.
