Lead in: Video conferencing is fairly easy to get into, and I know that with iChat, you can share documents so that all connected parties can see it.

Question: Are any of the more tech-savvy among the escapist forums aware of a way to share a file and allow live updating? For example, you are sharing an image over the video-chat engine of your choice. If you want to say, circle something in the image, and say "this needs to be brighter/darker/etc., is there a way to do it, other than making your mark, save, and re-share the image every time you want to show the other person something?

I think this is what Google Wave is supposed to do... If it doesn't, I don't get why my friend's freaking out about it.

However, although I didn't look much into it, a quick google search came up with:

Microsoft Office Live Meeting [http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/livemeeting/default.aspx]. I'd check it out.
