For me, it's the Chase Bank app on the iPhone. I can deposit my paycheck without going to the bank. It's fucking awesome.

My Nintendo DS.....two screens.....that is [HEADING=3]bodacious![/HEADING]

Touch screen, too?

[HEADING=3]Radical![/HEADING]

The only thing that would complete that duo of awesome quality would be the almighty:

3-D

A 3DS won't happen for years, though. Absolutely not. Plus, they would never release Metal Gear Solid 3 on it, either.

WiFi. Maybe everybody here is too young, but when I went to College, I was excited for just having a permanent, high-speed connection in the dorm. The Internet was already common, but you had to be set up to get it. Laptops were portable, but you carried them in a special bag with your ethernet cable so you could plug into the internet at the library or a friend's place.
Now, I can go into any coffee shop and get free, high speed, wireless internet. My laptop just gets thrown in a back pack with no accessories. My iPod Touch gives me my email, sometimes when I've stopped at a red light and it finds an unsecure connection. This is amazing. And it's become completely incorporated with our way of life. There's no going back, WiFi already isn't a neat gadget, it's the norm. My parents have a wireless router. It's a whole new world with no turning back that is completely accepted by everyone, and it's less than 5 years old.

Holy crap.

MAGNETS.

How do they work?!?
This.

OT:

Seriously though, probably the other day, when I was walking some dogs and was carrying on a conversation with text while also listening to music on my phone. Or just last night when I was lying there sick as fuck just texting. I don't know why, but cell phones are always the things that come to mind when I think of "future" shit that we have now.

Also this shit:

Interesting fact: That flame you see when it's firing isn't backblast of any kind. It's the air behind the munition being turned to plasma by the air friction.

OT: As said by bojac6, wi-fi. At first glance, it's a way to remove a few cables, but it's so much more. It's the power to interact with anyone, anywhere, from anywhere.

Honestly? Kinect. I don't know how well it'll work as a gaming platform, but the ability to control what is essentially your entire home entertainment system with your voice or the swipe of a hand is something that's just mind-blowing to me.

A Voodoo 3D card and a Gigabyte hard-drive. I remember telling people in 1999 that it'd be impossible to have a Gig HD...

My bad friends.

We arent until episode 3 comes out.
It would be awsome if it already had they just forgot to advertise it and they are all in the store rooms in the shops, millions of them.
