I haven't played it myself, but I've seen a lot of people that are WAY more invested in the Terminator franchise than me, really give it a high score. Enough so that I've considered picking it up at some point, just based on the overall gestalt being "yeah it's actually really good for the size of the team working on it!" While I don't actively seek out reviews much, I can't recall anyone giving it a negative review (though I'm sure they exist), but all the random chatter was generally positive, in the "wow! we're surprised how much we enjoyed it, we were expecting shit, but it's really good!"

I think the general opinion on the game is that it is pretty good "considering". So I don't know exactly if they mean that because the dev team, or because it's a movie license.

However I haven't seen anyone dislike the game, and I have a personal buddy of mine who liked it. He said it was good for a movie-based game even though it's just the IP not actually from any particular movie.
