Terminators vs Alien Invaders

I'd like to see a movie set in the future in the Terminator universe, but aliens invade. Everything is dull and dark, terminators rule the world and slowly become more and more advanced. All that is left of humanity are small rebel groups. Everything seems normal (Terminators flushing humans out of hiding and slaughtering them) when an alien ship suddenly appears in deep orbit around Earth. The ship is saucer shaped and about the size of the moon. Hundreds of smaller ships start flying out of the bottom of the massive mothership. The smaller ships start orbiting Earth; however, they don't do anything at all. Nothing happens for 3 days. Then, the smaller ships start deploying small fighter like craft to scout out Earth. One day later, the smaller ships start to deploy shuttles carrying alien invaders. The terminators defend Earth and a massive battle ensues.

lol Like independence day on steroids. Terminators vs Alien Invaders. I'd like to see that.

Pooh. When you said "Aliens", I assumed face hugging, egg laying, acid blooded, mini-mouth, people eaters.

These beings have crossed light-years to kick ass and chew bubble gum. I seriously doubt the Terminators would stand a chance because ALL they have is technology. Least we have disease we can give them...
If it was a race like Zerg or Tyranids where they are pretty much bio-monsters that would be cooler.

Well, the aliens spied on Earth for years, but left soon before Armageddon. They don't know the Earth was taken over by robots. They have to make up a new strategy to use. Also, the biological weapons they brought won't work. It's a pretty even fight cause the aliens didn't expect to come back to a planet ruled by highly advanced murderous humanoid robot terminator things.

Well yeah it would make it an even fight if the aliens were armed yet ill-equipped to kill the robots. However, I think it would make a better (re:happier) movie experience if the aliens didn't come back to kill us but to help us. You said they bring back biological weapons so I assume you imply they wanted to kill us. Or maybe thats it! They could want to come back wanting to kill us then end up helping us! You should write all of this down.

Well, The Terminators wouldn't want to join with the humans to defeat the aliens, no one would want to join with the humans to defeat the aliens. What could the humans do? The aliens come with massive stockpiles of biological weapons designed to decimate the human race. They didn't come well equipped to fight humanoid robot terminators with glowing red eyes FROM HELL!!!! jk, their eyes aren't from hell, THEY ARE!! jk a/w the humans would do their normal thing, hiding, dying, running, hiding, dying, being completely annihilated by aliens, etc... And for character development, Skynet and the terminators. It would be about the robot's evolution from terminators into a race of mechanical interstellar immortals. I'd like to see how Skynet adapts to this new threat. It's been dealing with humanity for so long, do you think it would be able to adapt to fight these Aliens?

Oh, and even if you don't really have individual characters, you can still have character development. And even if you don't have character development, all you need is terminators fighting aliens on an apocalyptic Earth and you have a blockbuster.

That'd fail as humans would be the first faction to go.And without humans Aliens won't be able to reproduce thus losing against Terminators.

Terminator vs Predator is a far more interesting idea.
