Not neccesarily. It just simulates a LAN connection over the internet. Useful for games with local lan only.

It just occured to me that since its new, and probably has a strong focus on multiplayer, it should have internet hosting.

Especially because it's available on Steam. I have a hard time imagining you need Hamachi to play it in multiplayer in that case.

Dont sweat it dood. Its probably better to start a group for this kind of thing, but making a thread for it isnt really a problem. The advertising thing is just to get rid of the bots. And I dont think you stole it, but the Hamachi thing is weird. Does it not have online multiplayer?

it's multiplayer is like Minecrafts multiplayer you have to enter in a IP or something along those lines. Hamachi is just a easy quick way for setting up a server.

Hamachi is used to make virtual LANs, and since playing on multiplayer requires you to connect to an IP address you would just put the IP Hamachi gives you instead of giving out your machine's IP to everyone on the Internet, so this way it's pretty much safer

By the way I'd like to join but the network is full and for_escapist2 doesn't seem to exist...
