This basically confirms what I've said on a number of threads in the past that there wont be a new Elder Scrolls game in the near future and also now there is a chance that the Elder Scrolls will become an MMO. I think that this sucks and making it in an MMO will simply kill the franchise. As if the death of KOTOR wasnt enough, Bethesda decided to give us another kick

Awesome! I've wanted an Elder Scrolls online game (MMO or just small number multiplayer) since Morrowind!

I was aware that Todd Howard confirmed they aren't working on ES 5, but no where else have I seen that he said they aren't working on any more DLC for Fallout, or anything about an Elder Schrolls MMO. So I think this site is making stuff up.

well if u think how big oblivion was, and say the whole of the kingdom + online possibilties, even if this game sucks it will be awesome just by the sheer scale of it

No way a TES MMO would KILL the franchise. If its bad, it will just be oh well, then TES 5 comes and things will be better again. Really, I just would like SOME form of TES (beyond the books that Im going to read but cant play so...) I would be fine. I mean, sure I could always use Morrowind and Daggerfall...but well...4th Era....

This confirms nothing, there's a chance fucking Hitman will be made into an MMO but I wouldn't bet on it, and Bethesda has about as much to do with KoTOR as Fox has to do with real news.

Bioware made KotOR1, Obsidian Entertainment made KotOR2. Neither are part of Bethesda last time I checked.
