I have to take the GED in a couple days and I really need some good tips on how to study and prep for the test. Any tips will do.

Do a little revision consistently each day, but obviously don't make this overkill & let it get on top of anything else you're working on. You want a proportional amount of revision in comparison to how much this matters.

Ask for help on various online forums for stuff you don't understand. Read wikipedia. If you have something to do with calculations, practise them first unless you're a maths genius.

Just run a checklist in your mind. Algebra, Science, the English language. Identify your weakest points, use a practice test if you have too, and just do a little bit of patching the weak links up every day.

You'll be fine, the GED is a joke if you know the basic high school curriculum.

I think that it would be wise to follow esotera & verzin's advice. First, try to spend your time on each subject the test will cover. Focus on your weaknesses (mine would be Algebra), but do not forget to touch on your strengths. I would suggest spending about 60% of your time studying material that you aren't comfortable with and spending the other 40% of your time studying material that you are more comfortable with.

Try timing yourself as you work out problems so you aren't overwhelmed by the timing when you take the actual test. Also polish up on basic formulas that may be present on the test. Try not to stress too much. You will be fine, and just remember that stressing yourself out and over-studying will be more detrimental to you than not studying at all.

lol nah it's the GED don't even worry about it... I took mine decently drunk and fell asleep 2/3rds of the way through and passed fine...
Hilarious. I can't even describe how funny that is.

But in all seriousness, thank you everyone for the tips. If this guy can be drunk and fall asleep, then I think I'll be alright.
