Weird that this is the quest you posted. This quest has ny one and only Skyrim bug so far. When I first talked to Meridia, the location of the beacon didn't show up on my map. I've read it spawns in a random location, so hopefully I'll come across it eventually. Loving the Daedric quests so far, though.
